Who is Sew Fine Auto Interiors?

Firstly, a little bit of background on myself. My name is Tim Parsons. I am 36yrs old, married with 4 children. I am a Qualified and experienced Motor Trimmer, having been in the trade for 17 years.

I completed my apprenticeship with Blackman & Sons, one of the best known and highly respected motor trimmers in Victoria learning the basics of the trade as well as some of the more intricate workings of many prestige and new vehicles.

After working there for 5 1/2 years, I then moved to work at Customtrim (another well respected trim shop) to further my knowledge and hone my skills, (also passing on my experience with newer cars) where I worked for 10 years gaining experience on an extensive range of vehicles. During that time, I have also collaborated with Phatt Audio Concepts and have been a major contributor on many unique cars such as Alpine’s Dodge Nitro and Chrysler 300c demo cars, Sam Pansinos’ Tekken RX7 and Eclipse sponsored Gemini as well as Michael Nguyens’ UNIK 1 Honda NSX



After having a four month break from the trade over Christmas 2008/09, and driving trucks over that break, I felt the passion and excitement for my work calling, and I decided to move forward and open my own business in Cranbourne, Victoria.


Since opening in April 2009 , I am very proud to have been recognized for my work on such cars as ..

. “DUBZ” , Daniel Broadbents’ 2008 Jeep Patriot - Top Interior at Leongatha lions club 2010 show & shine (out of over 150 entrants)


My, belief (and the drive behind my work) is that a car’s interior should not only suit the car, but should be designed to meet the owners specific needs – such as personality, budget and lifestyle. For many, a car is not just a vehicle for getting to and from. It is often an extension on one’s…….. character. ;-)
